The meme is all about sound: a wooden drummer knocking “tung tung tung” before dawn. That makes it a perfect fit for games you play with your ears as much as your eyes. (If you’re new to him, here’s what Tung Tung Tung Sahur actually means.)

The first game, Find Tung Tung Tung Sahur, takes the classic audio hide-and-seek idea somewhere new: a dark village, a lantern, wandering drummers, pot-banging decoys and a race against sunrise.

The second, Tung Tung Runner, turns the drum into the scoring instead of the target: you play as him, sprinting the rooftops on his pre-dawn round, and every window you bang awake on the way past is points on the board.

Every drawing on this site is original, hand-built as inline SVG rather than exported from anywhere. Every knock, klang and fanfare is synthesized live with the Web Audio API, so there are no audio files to download and the first sound plays instantly.

The site itself is static HTML generated with Astro. There’s no framework shipped to your browser and no ad network, which is why pages load fast. The only third-party scripts are Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — they tell us which games people actually play and where they get stuck, and the privacy policy spells out exactly what they see. Game progress is written to your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.
